Kris Gurprasad
Kris brings over 16 years of experience in Canadian tax litigation and dispute resolution. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010 and has represented clients in hundreds of tax matters across a wide range of forums, including CRA audits, appeals, and voluntary disclosures, as well as proceedings before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, and multiple provincial courts.
Before joining Taxpayer Law, Kris practised at two specialised tax law firms focusing exclusively on tax litigation. He also worked at the CRA's Income Tax Rulings Directorate, giving him valuable first-hand insight into the agency's interpretation and administration of the Income Tax Act.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Kris has completed all three levels of CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Course.
